For the last couple of months, you may have noticed our promos for our 956 for ALL series. This has been part of our efforts to spark conversations and ideas on cultivating belonging and a welcoming environment in South Texas.

For our final event in this series, we’re co-hosting a creative workshop with the San Benito Cultural Heritage Museum to imagine an inclusive and diverse future for the Rio Grande Valley. Join us on Saturday, 6/21 at 1PM at the San Benito Cultural Heritage Museum! This is a family friendly event that will be hosted in English and Spanish.

During the event, Ruido Studios will do a brief presentation on what “narrative” means and how we can envision a new, more positive narrative about the border and our people. Then, the team at the San Benito Cultural Heritage Museum will lead us through a creative, hands-on activity to collectively envision what a new border story can look like. 

This is a family friendly event and all are welcome! Light refreshments and art supplies will be provided— we just need you there to make this event complete. 🫶
